How does eMailACheck integrate with QuickBooks Online?

1. Download the App: Download the app on (Apple, Google Play Store or Amazon) on your mobile or via Web.
2. Account Setup: To sign-up to your account, you need to set up your profile by providing your Account Type, Name, Number, Email address, password, and a security question.
3. Verification: Once the information gets verified via text messages and emails, read the Terms and Conditions, and check the box.

Once you have registered and want to proceed writing a check, you first need to add a Bank Account.

First You Login in eMailACheck, Follow these steps to set up your bank account:

1. Add Bank Account: Click on "Add Bank Account" in left sidebar, and providing necessary details.

2. Finalize Setup: Complete your profile by adding Account Holder name, Email, Holder address, account type, Bank name, Account number, Routing number, Bank branch, and State.

   Note: Kindly enter same Checking Bank name and Account number as mentioned in your QuickBooks company.
3. Verify Bank Account: Newly added Bank Account will listing below "Validated Bank Account" Table, Where You will need to verify Bank account.

Once your account is set-up, you are good to send and receive checks via the eMailACheck app!

Follow these steps to connect with QuickBooks Online:

1. Accounting Software: Click to "Accounting Software" in the left sidebar, then click on "QuickBooks".
2. Connect to QuickBooks: Find the "Connect to QuickBooks" button to initiate the connection.
3. Authentication: Follow the on-screen prompts for QuickBooks authentication.
4. Company Selection: Choose the relevant company (if multiple companies are accessible).
5. Authorization: Click "Connect" to authorize eMailACheck for data exchange.
6. Completion: Once connected, the window will close, and you will see the "Disconnect" button on the Accounting Software screen.

Follow these steps to write check in QuickBooks Online:

1. Access Your QuickBooks Online Company: Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Initiate Check Creation: Click the "+ New" button in the left sidebar and select "Check" under the Vendors section.

3. Provide Transaction Details: Fill in essential information such as payee/vendor, check date, amount, and additional relevant details.

   Important: Accurately choose the appropriate Checking bank account and Expense or Account category.

4. Save the Check: After entering all necessary details, click the "Save and Close" or "Save and New" button located at the bottom of the screen.

This newly added check, you will find in Accounting software screen of eMailACheck, and you can send to your payee as mentioned below.

1. Access the Accounting Software Screen: Navigate to the Accounting Software Screen to locate the recently created check in QuickBooks.
2. Initiate Check Writing: Click on the "Write Check" button in the action menu.
3. Review Prefilled Check Details:

   The system will automatically populate the check details previously entered in QuickBooks.

   Confirm that all the information is accurate and matches the details provided during the creation in QuickBooks.

4. Signature: Sign in the designated signature tab.
5. Submission: Click "Submit" to successfully create the check.
6. Send the Check: Click "Send" to transmit the check electronically.

From now on, this is how you will write your checks.
